When it comes to wagons, Volvo's heritage is unquestioned, so when the new V90 was unveiled earlier today, we were pretty excited. The latest model in the top-of-the-line 90 series, the V90 is built on Volvo's new Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), which also produced the XC90 SUV, and the S90 sedan.

Yesterday, Volvo reported a strong sales performance for the month of January, thanks in large part to the new XC90 luxury SUV. Sales in the United States topped out at 4,244 for the month, an increase of 11.9 percent over January 2015.

XC90 led all vehicles, selling 2,375 units. The premium utility vehicle is the first model off Volvo's new $11 billion Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), and features a new design language, new powertrain, and a number for world-first safety technologies...

This morning, we were excited to learn that Kelley Blue Book had chosen the XC90 for its inaugural Best Auto Tech Award, thanks to Volvo's intuitive Sensus infotainment system. The award was presented yesterday, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
