Volvo C40
As a sporty evolution of the current Volvo XC40 model, the 2022 Volvo C40 gives you a glimpse into the future of driving fun. You’ll get 402 horsepower and 567 pound-feet of torque from the powerful electric motors, while all-wheel drive helps keep things sorted out. The sloping roofline gives it a more athletic profile than its larger sibling, while maintaining a usability and cargo space that you’ll appreciate every day.
Volvo Recharge
Not only will there be two pure EVs in the Volvo lineup starting in 2022, but the current crop of cars is getting some electric assistance as well. Each new Volvo model will carry a Recharge engine option. This plug-in hybrid powertrain delivers 400 horsepower and 472 pound-feet of torque when in Sport mode, but splits power between a dualcharged combustion engine and electric motor in Normal and Comfort modes. And when you have the opportunity, electric-only mode allows you to drive on just the EV motors, giving you a fuel-free experience for up to 24 miles.
