November is Child Safety and Protection Month so to celebrate, we want to discuss the safety features in our Volvo cars.
By the year 2020, Volvo plans to have their cars be so safe that nobody is killed or injured in one. As a result of this goal, they are adding more safety features to keep drivers and occupants safe. The Volvo XC60 impressed MotorTrend in a Small Overlap Frontal Crash Test last year. The results of the crash and the amount of effort put into ensuring the safety of its occupants is astounding. Watch the video below.
Volvo isn't just committed to making safe cars, they are also breaking into the child safety seat market and announced its plans to release a line of inflatable seats. Parents know the difficulty of fitting a child seat into a car, or the pain of having to move it from one car to the next. The inflatable child safety seat will help limit that pain, as it can inflate and deflate in about 40 seconds.
If you live in the Metairie, New Orleans, Slidell, and Houma area, visit Bergeron Volvo whether you need to find your next, safe Volvo, or want yours serviced. With Volvo, safety is our business.
