Volvo Considers the Addition of More Polestar Models to Lineups

As most of you Volvo enthusiasts know, Polestar is the official performance division of the Swedish automaker and constantly gets attention for its powerfully enhanced rides that are now available in select parts of the world as a part of a test program. At Bergeron Volvo, serving drivers in the Greater New Orleans, LA area, we are super excited because if the program is a success, we could see more Polestar models available in our Metairie, LA showroom.

This development depends on how the Volvo S60 does in the land down under. The model has already been a part of the racing culture by participating in Australia's V8 Supercar Series. If the S60 Polestar proves to be successful in popularity, then more Polestar models will be brought to the market.

One of the possible models to be introduced is the five-door hatchback Volvo V40, which debuted last year. This is the brand's attempt to break into the competitive crossover segment overseas and we can only guess that the Polestar upgrades are sure to give it an advantage.

Here on our continent, the Volvo XC60 is proving to a popular choice for drivers. With Polestar technology, the XC60 is sure to be the hottest car in our new Volvo lineup.
