Drivers from the greater Metairie area know there's something to be said about making wise investments, which is why so many choose a new Volvo from Bergeron Volvo. Such choices are often the result of hours of research, consideration and discussion. In other words, they often come from a fiscally fit mind.

Making the decision to purchase a Volvo XC60 or S80 isn't confined to our local region, though. Savvy drivers from across the country are choosing Volvo as well, and Experian Automotive has taken notice.

The U.S. credit reporting agency has released a list of its top automakers sorted by the average credit score of shoppers. Topping the list is none other than Volvo, proving it attracts some of the most fiscally responsible drivers on the road.

New-car shoppers who choose our favorite Scandinavian automaker have an average credit score of 818. Mid-level automakers, meanwhile, tend to attract an average credit score of 741-801. The lowest tier: 694.

This is an interesting tidbit of news to hear, but it's not one that defines Bergeron Volvo or the Volvo brand as a whole. That said, we're always interested in discussing car loan and Volvo lease options with potential buyers.
