Drivers in the greater Metairie, LA area have already amazed with performance of Volvo models like the XC70 , Volvo S60 and S80, but another new model is creating a buzz overseas. The model we're talking about is the European-exclusive V40 hatchback.
New for the 2013 model year, the new hatchback has dazzled due to its creative design, roomy interior and impressive safety features. The new V40 has an airbag that is shaped like a letter U, and it provides drivers with more protection in the event of an accident.
All of these reasons have earned the V40 a finalists spot for the car of the year award. Currently the vehicle is among ten finalists that a team of 66 judges are considering for the award. The winner of the award will be announced at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.
